About Me

I am a musician that has had some great experiences as a player and is also enjoys sharing those time with fantastic musical students.I have shared the stage with great musicians such as Frank Foster, James Spaulding, Bob Weir, Howard Johnson, Benny Russell & the Next Legacy Jazz Orchestra, Ray Chew, David O'Rourke, Hilton Ruiz, Martha Reeves, Robert McFerrin Sr., Oliver Lake, David Murray, Henry Threadgill, Dave Bargeron, Bob Stewart, Tommy Labella, and tons more. Lately I have been performing with STYX guitarist Glen Burtnik and his many project. One of them was the Beatle's White Album Live with the original Bealtlemania members of which Glen is part of. Later we will be a part of the Abby Road Album. My favorite project is the Christmas Xtravaganza Shows.I toured Europe, Morocco, India and also recorded with Henry Threadgill on his Axiom labled CD - "Too Much Sugar for a Dime". Another CD I was on is Russell Gunn's - "Ethnomusicology 3". I have done children' albums, recorded with the Eastern Wind Symphony, several band publisher recordings, and a few PBS studio sound track thingies.I have played with several orchestras in NJ and performed in Dallas and Houston with the 75th Anniversary NANM Orchestra (comprised of all the top black musicians from all the major orchestras) and the Scott Joplin Orchestra in Houston, Texas. Those two named performances are on my short list of major accomplishments along with performing as a sub for the Broadway Show - RAGTIME the Musical.Most recent projects - my own group "Hot Air" and recording with the Jersey band - The Beacons. I also enjoy playing with the Jambalaya Brass Band - a New Orleans style funk band based in NYC (leader Ric Frank).-- HOT AIR --Performed at the 1997 Red Bank Blues and Jazz Festival - 1998 Hunterdon County Teen Arts Festival as a feature ensemble - various venues - throughout NJ/PA/NYC-- TOP BRASS QUINTET -- QUINTESSENCE BRASS -- POLISHED BRASSInception of Quintessence & Top Brass (1994, 1986) with my buddy Lars Wendt - trombone; (my sister) Nancy Gallagher, Lisa Nettleship - horn; Danny Tobias, Dave Thomas, Steve "the man" Loretti, Bob Gravener, (my brothers) Sean O'Neill, Dunkin Johnston, Andrew Fillipone, Ray Nettleship, Pete Neu, James McIlvain, and Kyle - trumpet; Dorian Parreott II, Ron Caswell (my twin), Remoh Mosley - tuba.I have just about every recording of performances and rehearsals and converting them over to MP3.
