Welcome to the Innergroove Productions site. Innergroove started in 1996 with keyboard player and founder member Wayne Brown, his vision was to produce music that would highlight some of Manchester's talent incorporating writing, recording and performing the songs live. The genre was aimed to be a non-descript fusion of ideas simply what came from the heart i.e. your INNERGROOVE. This allowed the artist freedom to create rather than conform, incorporating jazz, soul, rare groove, hip hop and rock elements to the music. After several changes within the line up a solid 'stable' was in situ and innergroove took the music out to the public in 1998, for four years the band played at many venues and festivals building a growing fan base, also in 1998 the band released their fisrt single 'Free' which is out on a Raw Fish Records compilation.Wayne and the band took a break in 2002 to work on separate projects, and to work with other artists. Carl and Wayne still write and produce songs, Sam has been busy recording her album, Peter also been doin his thing writing for films, whilst Helena, EJE, Mikey and Chris has been busy on the live circuit! At present the members of the live line up of Innergroove are dispersed 3 of the band members recently had children, others have other commitments within music and in family life, so touring is not viable at this time.Wayne will continue to write songs and post them here for you to listen to...he hopes you enjoy and continue to pass by.
