F-art Ensemble Of Greensboro - WE ARE BACK!

About Me

MARCH, 2009 - PLEASE NOTE, THE F-ART ENSEMBLE IS BACK, PERFORMING THE FIRST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT MACK & MACK, IN GREENSBORO, NC. ADDITIONAL DATES WILL BE FORTH COMING. NOW READ THE OLD LINER NOTES: The F-art Ensemble of Greensboro existed from 1976 until around 1985. It will take extensive research to have an accurate bio of The F-art Ensemble and will be a work in progress. More than 20 years have gone by. Anyone who can contribute, please send whatever you have to me. Anyone who could contribute photos of the F-art shows would be most welcome. There will be a reunion show sometime in 2007 or 2008. You can find the details here.A massive project will be underway soon to transfer the large body of original master cassettes of every show the F-art Ensemble performed, to the CD medium. This is a joint venture between Dave Doyle and Jeff Gray. They will be available for sale at a very minimal price. The idea is to share this amazing improvised music to as many people who are interested. The 1980 Halloween performance of the "Coathanger Concerto 1 and Other Selections" is available now. Please contact me for information.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
