I had made a living up until 2004 solving various mysteries with an elite crime fighting team that included a large dog and a stoner. Oddly enough almost every mystery involved someone disguised as a monster or ghost and all we had to do to solve them was simply remove the perpetrators mask to reveal their true identity. After a number of years the thrill of the chase wore off and I became disillusioned with the job. In 2004 I decided to leave the team and return to university in Leeds to study creative music and sound technology. Upon moving to Leeds I moonlighted as a vigilante catching criminals in and around Leeds. After a few months of this I realised that criminals in Leeds do not disguise themselves as supernatural characters and tend to carry weapons. I decided it was imperative to find a different job in order to preserve my health and also the money was not so good with the lack of an eccentric billionaire to fund my efforts. In light of this I took to bartending, originally hoping to have the same fun filled ride to the top that tom cruise had in cocktail. However after gaining employment in Wetherspoons I realised that my experience was differing considerably to that of Mr Cruise. In fact I was selling drinks to many of the criminals I had hunted and brought to justice in my previous job. Even with university and the job going well there was still something missing from my life. Then one day in a local tavern I met Chris Lynch the guitarist in 'Anna Karina', I mentioned that I could sing and he asked me to try out, within a matter of weeks I was in the band. With a new element in my life things were looking good but I decided I still had room for some more creativity. I decided to start writing and recording my own music under my name 'Thomas'.
