I started playing during school, not really knowing what instrument was for me, violin, cello, sax, then my parents bought me a drum kit. I managed a couple of beats and that was about it. My dad played guitar, so they were always knocking about the house. A couple of chords here & there was about my stamp. Then I started playing bass with a few cover bands once I left school. I gigged the bass for a couple of years and recorded a little original stuff. I think the licencing laws changed for performing artists in pub's in the UK becuse almost overnight Venue managers and pub landlords began to tell us that we could have a gig if we were a duo. A few years later I'm back in a duo, still writing and recording (please feel free to comment on my sound, songs etc.). While doing all of this I held down a full time job and studied for a number of courses two of which are BSc(Hons) degrees. Anyway enough of the crap. The guitar is my bag, it just seems right although I'm performing most of the parts on my songs.
