BHARATANATYAM: BHAva(expression) + RAga (music) + TAla(rhythm) + NATYAM(dance)Music is a pallet of rhythm and emotion,and the dancer is the painter as well as the brush.
From as early as four years old Sara has recognised dance as her calling in life. At that age she began her formal training in the classical Indian dance Bharatanatyam at the Abinaya Tharpana Palli dance school,Berlin.
She was included in her dance school's line up and managed her first solo performance by the age of six.
In 2005 she successfully completed her Arangetam ( http://www.geocities.com/regha/theory.html#PS ) and in the same year received the title Adet Kaleiarassi.Apart from touring Germany she has also performed at several events in Sri Lanka. Where she collaborated with Professor Maunaguru,who heads the Department of Fine Arts at the Eastern University. 2009 sees her ready to take her artform to other parts of the world. She has already been included in the theatre production "HesseIndia" in Vienna,Austria, and the Suburban Sprawl Festival in Guildford, Britain.{}
