Hi. My name is Marissa...let me tell you a little bit about myself... 1. I grew up in SoCal, and you know what? It really wasn't that bad of a place,..I miss it every now and then...okay, that's a lie, I really do miss that place 2. I'm in college...and I'm majoring in psychology...at the moment I'm leaning towards psychosocial development in adolescents...but that changes every week or so,so don't place any bets just yet... 3. This year has truly been one of discovery and change and I think I've learned to be okay with the fact that things aren't going to stay stationary. I've learned the many meanings behind the phrase, "you win some and you lose some", whether it be applied to friends, family, situations, ideas, dreams, personal characteristics, items, feelings, and arguments. As it turns out, I've learned that people aren't always what they promise to be and every once in a while, you find a 'diamond in the rough' who opens your eyes to possibilities never before dared thought of. 4. I've also decided that it's okay to be open-minded about the things going on around you. Personally, I don't really associate myself with any one group, but rather take in all opinions, ideas, facts, and arguments and use the info given to me to draw my own conclusions. 5. As far as personality goes..I'm ever changing, (at least, I like to think that) but here are a few of the basics...FIRST, I have an abstract way of thinking; just go with it. SECOND, I will do anything in my power to help a friend out...at least, I will attempt to do anything in my power...just ask...I'm not here to be your superhero, but I am here to help if I can...and.. THIRD I DONT TAKE KINDLY TO BEING SCREWED WITH...I will not tolerate it....but other than that, if you need that shoulder, or a little bit of advice, I'm your go-to gal 6. I spend my free time with my friends and/or listening to music...and trying to keep myself out of trouble..I will gladly kick ass during a game of phase ten, and make sure to fully throw it back into your face at every moment possible during the course of the game... I have no qualms about lying in bed and listening to some good music and have made it a habit to do so on a regular basis.... 7.
