The title was derived from his name “Jae Grand†which at times was also written “J000â€, grand being known also as a thousand hence the Triple O label.

The GRAND OPENING DEBUTE ALBUM...
The Grand Opening the first solo album from Jae Grand. The album 7 years in the making has finally begun materialising. The album has been chopped and changed more times than Michael Jackson’s face, in mid 06’ the track list was confirmed to have 15 tracks recorded but not master, all verses, chorus and bridges written by Jae Grand and production by Heat Child, but was all scraped in the wake of the track “I’m On A Journey†being created. Jae felt that the level of production and quality of the track would completely over shadow the rest of the album, so the only way to be able to complete the album was to create tracks that could follow up Journey comfortably and were on the same grade as it or better. The first stage of completion as been achieved, still on the production, Heat Child has brought absolutely high end commercial, mainstream, radio friendly beats, but also underground, real hip hop sort of feel to it. Jae’s follow is mellow, sound is pure, rhymes are tight and works the beat, all that’s left is recording and mastering to put a classic to his name.
