Hi, nice that you are reading this. :-) Do you want to know more about me? Where should I begin and where should I finish? I studied history and social anthropology and of course these subjects are part of my main interests. For some years I have to care for my mother around the clock. She is very ill and confined to bed. Therefore I miss social contacts a little bit... One reason more to look for new acquaintances or even friends. I'm very interested in literature, especially Russian, French and Latin American. If I have to name some favourites... they would be Balzac, Stendhal, Merle, GarcÃa Márquez, Simonov, Sholokhov, Jack London... As for poetry: Heinrich Heine, Peter-Paul Zahl, Vladimir Maiakovsky, Jura Soyfer...My favourite movies are: Easy Rider, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Thelma and Louise, Mississippi Burning...Formerly I did wrestling and rugby. Now I..m interested in soccer (FC Sachsen Leipzig) and cycle racing (even though I lost a lot of fun watching the races, after all the scandals).As for music I like everything from classical music (Bach, who lived and worked in Leipzig and Verdi. Salieri was a discovery for me on a CD by Cecilia Bartoli, who is also my classical favourite singer.) till Hard Rock. A special place in my heart belongs to Joan Jett & The Blackhearts ("Bad Reputation Nation" forever!). I love the songs by Mercedes Sosa and Hannes Wader very much. His "Leben einzeln und frei" touched my heart very deep: "Living solitary and free/ Like a tree and nevertheless/ Brotherly like a forrest/ This yearning is old..." You are so right, Hannes! And sometimes I..m "Over the clouds" with Reinhardt May... I..m also interested in religions and in my opinion wicca is really fascinating. In my eyes it..s one of the most humanist religions.
