I'd like to meet...
The first person who first had the idea to eat what comes out of a chickens ass.......no really now that took guts. But seriously I'd like to meet any one that writes for a living...authors, screenwriters, political speech writers... to pick their brain 'cause I do have an inquiring mind. I'd love to meet Dennis Miller and Robin Williams. I'd have to have access to some O2 and be wearing a diaper...if ya know what I mean! Anyone who can carry on a conversation contemplating the creation of dirt. because ya see. I've lived like a hermit(ess) most of my life. But it's weird...people seldom stay long enough for me to pick their so called brain...something about all the strange noises coming from the basement.
~~~~~*~~~~ ~*~ More about me:
What you'll find on my bookshelf:
Angelique by Seargeanne Golan, 3 of Mitch Albom, A couple of Stephen King and almost all of John Grisham. .I used to have the whole set of Ian Fleming when I was a teenager,but they were lost in a dispute over "things".
I have quite a few different ones.Political, Cooking, Gardening, Genealogy, Astrology, and Hstorical fiction.
My pet peeves are:
People with cell phones glued to their heads, traffic, cars that rattle my doors off with that "boom " they call music? Don't lie & we will get along.
In my spare time I like to: Used to watch the boob tube a lot but now it's DVDs. Just taking life as it comes. ...having the chance to watch sunrises and sunsets.
My animal companion(s):
I have 1 dog, 1 cat and 1 man.
Things that make me smile: Trees, sunsets, nature in general. Babies, kittens, and puppies.
Things that make me irate: People that take their parents for granted are tops on my list. (What goes around comes around)People in general..... Like thinking that education ends when they leave school behind.(You learn something everyday) Or being inconsiderate and being so wrapped up in their own little world. All those IDIOTS that are saying "We should get out of Iraq!" We can't JUST get out. not now. yes we shouldn't have gotten involved in this hornet's nest of religious diveristy but we ARE in it. George keeps telling them we can't and won't so (slap SLAP) shut up already!
Relationship Status: Been there...done that 3x..this is last one
Interests: Music is my passion. Favorite Saying: I don't call it hot flashes, just internal combustion! (tks widowvixen)
Favorite Music: If its got a beat I'll listen. I usually have something playing. From 40's to 90's. Clasical to heavy metal.That's what the remote is for...don't like it change it.
Favorite Color: At the moment it's a certain shade of green...God's favorite color.
What is one thing I really like about myself: That I refuse to give up learning.
In which state do you live and why? Florida. Once upon a time...a hansome second son proposed to an "only" child in the moonlight. "Marry me and we will travel to the south." (little did she know it was every season) She said "I'll have to ask my parents" She did, they did and they lived ever-after in the land of sunshine, until it came time to educate the first-born of three products of the marriage. A decade and a half passed, strange things occured in a series of events. The only child found her long-lost family, she thought it was a fairy-tale come true. She was happy with her new-found family, but finally realized her personal family life was forever broken by her husbands increasing amounts of a golden liquid, some call "liquid courage" in a brown bottle. The handsome second son and his younger brother, who always did everything together, were celebrating the disolutions of marriages to each of their northern women. They were tragicly killed one fate-filled night, while racing for "pink-slips", a car game that was popular at the time with "good-ole-boys" in the south.. She stayed to raise her children in the land of sunshine.
The one person I'd like to spend an hour with: Oh too many to choose from--- but I guess my grandmother to start then I could fill in some blanks.I wish I had gotten a quicker start, before my parents memories dimmed. But I was just a kid, concerned about my own family then.
If I had one wish it would be:
Beside the traditional Peace/Happiness/Love to all Mankind. The secret map to the fountain of youth.
If I could change one thing about myself, it would be: That I could rid of this "mad" look I inhereited
If I could change one thing about my life, it would be: I guess I would have to say marrying my second husband....that wouldn't have changed history too much if I hadn't married him...except I wouldn't have learned a few small things that I did from the result. It wasn't a huge mistake, just a waste of time.
The dreams I've realized in my life are:
Finding happiness again... with my guy. Raising my kids successfully.
My future outlook:
Learning as much as I can and trying to remember it all.
Words I live by:
What goes around does come back to hit you when you least expect it.
Personal Challenges I face:
Remembering things to forget. Forgeting things to remember.
