I have been in Portland, Oregon since February of 06, and have enjoyed living here very much. I moved up here more or less on a whim with some fun business ideas. Almost as soon as I got here I was recruited by my good friend Ashkelon to join the band he put together here in Portland called, Submarine Fleet
. We go back to 98 in Santa Barbara, when I toured with his band at the time Trance To The Sun . I am happy and excited to be apart of this new project and to be re-connected with my friend, and to have met and made new friends with Mark and Dan. We are currently recording a full length album in the studio and planning some exciting shows, in and around Oregon, and some special events in places like New York.I grew up in Santa Barbara, California and have been playing music for about eleven years, since the age of twelve. I started early, playing music with a band called Asinine when I was thirteen. We played lots of shows and were getting more and more respect as we grew together. This is around the time I became friends with Ashkelon and went on a west coast tour when I was about fifteen or so. Music seemed to be in my destiny, but fate had other ideas for me. After an interesting, and scary bad acid trip, that involved being nude and running around the quiet, and extremely wealthy neighborhood of Montecito and a brief stay in Santa Barbara county juvenile hall, my custody was given to my father where I then re-connected with a whole side of my family I didn’t know. I spent many years getting to know and love everyone on that side of the family and have lots of self discovery.I lived with my Family in Los Angeles where I met and became good friends with Ragunath of Youth Of Today and Shelter, and was offered to go on a Europe tour.
