About Me

Each member of the Texas Kings has a certain musical interest. It is these diversities in musical preference that make The Texas Kings what they are, and what you know. The diversity held within each member, shapes us into a band that has "many" sounds. The band does not fall into place with one specific genre of music, because each of them have been influenced by what they listen to. We've come a long way these past few years, and learned quite a lot, we only have one mission, and that is to satisfy your ears.
William Hartman is a 18 year old guitarist who picked up the instrument 4 years ago and made the decision, he wanted to play like the people he enjoyed hearing on the radio. His strong dedication in following his dream has led him to be the successful musician he has became over this short period of time. He has an interest in southern rock, classic rock, and Texas country music, and has a strong hate for Nashville country music.
Schuyler Devins is an 18 Year old improvisional lead guitarist who decided one day, he would pick up a guitar, and learn to play it to the best of his ability, a year and a half later Schuyler has become a very great guitarist who can bust out a solo no one has ever heard before spontaneously in the middle of a song. He has an interest in classic rock, modern rock, and southern rock music.
Blain Houck is an 18 year old bassist who spontaneously picked up the instrument 3 years ago because he wanted to make a deep sound behind guitars like he heard on several records he randomly bought because he found an interest in them. An anti-star, he's jumping about, and "rocking his ass off"-(Billy Hartman) He has an interest in english punk, american classic punk, classic rock, and oldies music.
Judd Williams is a 17 year old improvisional drummer who picked up some drumsticks and followed the beats on some of his favorite songs, 3 and a half years later, he has become a very eccentric drummer who can make a beat for any song he has listened to for about 2 seconds, Judd doesn’t just play the drums, he beats the living crap out of them and shouts “who’s your daddy?”, the drums don’t reply, but the fans do. Judd has an interest in classic rock, southern rock, modern rock, and country music.
Former Bassist and back up vocalist Randy Burns, made a very big impact on what The Texas Kings have become, and no one could discredit him on the contributions he made in the band.
