Custard Pies are three experienced musicians from Münster who founded the band in May 2000. They want to enable themselves and the audience to make a time journey and to experience the exciting and thrilling atmosphere of a Led Zeppelin concert. Together, they achieve to get (deceiving) close to the original. Custard Pies manage to play songs of a whole decade of innovative rock music in an authentic and accurate manner concerning all musical details. The band thereby refers to studio as well as live recordings.
Since the band founded they have constantly been arousing storms of enthusiasm even among genuine and critical Zeppelin-Fans. Nearly after every concert people come up to the band and state the unbelievable closure to the original.
