Hey, we're Seized Of Darkness, and we're a Christian metal band from Portland, Oregon. We started out in 2006 when God brought us together to make music to serve him. Perceiving the world as darkness and God as light we came up with our name, which indicates God has seized us from the darkness of the world. As a band we try to stay away from classifying ourselves, we just play metal, and we're Christians, so that explains it pretty well. God has opened some amazing doors for us to be able to record a few tracks and play some awesome shows, and we would like thank everybody who has been so generous and helpful to us in getting our music out there. Unfortunately, as of late, we lost two key musicians: our bassist Jared, and our lead guitarist Josh; we're currently looking for someone to fill their shoes! Drop us a line if you're interested in chatting it up or applying for the position(s)!

Oh, and just for the curious....just because we are Christians doesn't mean we are judgmental! We'll play a show with anybody (unless your band name is We Hate Seized Of Darkness) anywhere we can.
