England & The April formed in London, UK in 2005. Glen, Jae & Rachel, ex-members of TheBed, MoonDaySpeaks & That Fateful Day respectively, are the founding members. O replaced Jae on drums late in 2006, Jae moved over to keyboards.
3 albums were written and recorded in 2 years, most of the recordings are available to download for free, and in April 2007 news of a temporary break was posted on the bands website. Varying combinations of members have played on songwriter Glen Strachan’s solo albums.
