The Stains

formed in the early 90's by albert awful, simon vague and john codger in london, the stains recruited drummer gary baldi and after getting a wee bit of a following in the u.k they went on to tour round europe and released the songs for swinging loser's album on dojo records, numerous line up changes occured after the departure of simon vague and the following have all served the cause, chris parrish, warren peace,brian barnes,geoff and gonk, The band continued based(as always) around the song writing of john and albert and played around the u.k and europe and releasing the classic single independant/in decline and appearing on numerous compilations before finally calling it a day in 2001. john is now the lead singer for the german punk rock band "the spittin' vicars" and albert is the lead guitarist for dirty love!
