-SPANISH- - - - Yeray Afonso (Low Mazig) comienza a producir reggae después de una cierta trayectoria como músico pasando por diversos estilos y al manejo de distintos instrumentos. En el ámbito del reggae comenzó desarrollando ideas en la banda de roots reggae 'Pachumba', de la cual continúa formando parte. Desde entonces ha continuado produciendo reggae y dub desde una particular visión del estilo aunque procurando sonidos que recuerdan tanto a la Jamaica de los 70 como a ciertas producciones U.K. En 2006 entra en 'Binghiband' (backing de Tenerife) donde como teclista y co-productor musical trabaja para artistas de la talla de Brinsley Forde(ASWAD) o Junior Marvin (WAILERS). A principios del 2007 produce una demo en la que participa gran parte de las voces de la escena de Tenerife y para este año, entre los proyectos a corto plazo está la grabación de un album en el que colaborarán artistas de nombre internacional. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -ENGLISH- - - - Yeray Afonso (Low Mazig) began performing/producing reggae music after years of playing various instruments in a number of groups that ranged in style. He came into the sphere of reggae when he began contributing ideas in the roots reggae band 'Pachumba' of which he is a member. Since then he has continued playing and producing reggae and dub with an affinity that recalls Jamaican sounds of the 70's and certain british recordings. In 2006 joined the 'Binghiband', a backing band based in Tenerife where he has worked as keyboards player and co-arranger for artist such as Brinsley Forde (ASWAD) or Junior Marvin (WAILERS). At the beginning of 2007 he recorded a demo in which many musicians of the Tenerife scene participated. Among other projects for this year will be the release of an album that will feature collaborations with international artists.
