Temporary Mind

So who makes 'Temporary Mind' and where did it all begin? Well it all began a few years ago when Paul and Sam met and became good friends. Sharing the same love and enthusiasm for guitars and music they began jamming in the back room of Sams family pub known as 'Ye olde jolly sailor' in Teignmouth, they have evenings known as 'open mike nights' where other local artists can come and play, Paul and Sam would often play on these nights to the locals. They eventually decided to form an acoustic duo and named themselves 'Temporary Mind' and from there came many gigs playing in local pubs which led to more gigs being played in surrounding towns as their music became more and more popular! Shortly after, their first E.P was born and was produced by DJ (mr) Vinyl. DJ Vinyl liked their music so much he asked them to play 'Air Fusion' music festival in Newton Abbott then got them to play 'Decoy palooza' also in Newton Abbott. Even after being asked by 'Battle of the bands' in Teignmouth with only 20 minutes notice to perform, they did and were the only band to get the crowd going and up on their feet!! As time has gone on 'Temporary Mind' have gone from strength to strength playing at numerous charity events including the 'Snooky Trust' and the 'Helen Foundation' to name a few! Weddings and parties add to the list of experiences and not forgetting Palm FM radio which they have been on 5 times so far. Just recently Callum got drafted in for their new album as bass guitarist and ended up staying,now making them an acoustic trio! There music carries on to be enjoyed by many, so much so that there biggest gig to date is coming up this October supporting the one and only 'Peter Murphy' who is currently on his european sellout 'Secret cover' tour. Some may know Peter as the lead singer of a well known gothic band of the 80's called 'Bauhaus'. So with this to look forward to with maybe a few added nerves the boys can definately mark this down as one of the biggest stepping stones towards more great gigs and more great albums for fans and followers to carry on enjoying!
