You made it feel just like a fire.

CHECK OUR PROMO RECORD OUT!
KICKIN' DOORS AND STABBING BEDS
Coming November 20, 2007.

Are you tired of football, fantastic food, great tradition, and some time off school or work being the only things to look forward to on Thanksgiving? Do you feel as though this holiday is missing something, but you just can’t put your finger on it? Maybe it should be a little more like Christmas. Perhaps some gifts should be given on this day. Well now they can be. This Thanksgiving, you can give the greatest gift of all: Brash’s debut album Kickin’ Doors and Stabbing Beds.
Do you have a friend who is always telling you that you owe them something? Well this year, you can give them Kickin’ Doors and Stabbing Beds and they will forget all about your debts. This Thanksgiving will truly be one to remember. I believe we’re starting a trend.
Kickin' Doors and Stabbing Beds is all about disco. Sometimes it is about other things, but the disco always shines through. Songs like FIRE in the Streets, Me and DJ Scooter Clinanus, A Plateprater Saved My Life This Afternoon, and He's a Superstar follow the ever so popular disco-metal trend. Other songs like Trumped and Bram are what we like to call "burlesque disco," while Hoover's Buffoy is a super smooth "disco-jazz" song. To sum up, this album is one that features some tremendous synth work. FIRE in the Streets and Hoover's Buffoy showcase this, as a bass guitar is not used in either song.
The opener, FIRE in the Streets will put the listeners in dance mode right away. If you can remain seated while listening to this song, you must lack the ability to walk. The next six songs all feature a different genre. This was not intentional. It was actually just noticed about ten seconds ago. Me and DJ Scooter Clinanus will continue the disco-metal trend, followed by Trumped. Next is Gettin’ Dirty. This is a classic seventies party track that was written a short while before Brash was in existence. Next is the dance hit .M.K.D. If you’re in the mood for a fast paced song to get your juices flowing, then get out your dancing shoes and crank this song up. The sixth song, Immolate Me is a cover song. It is not one of our favorites on the album, and it is more or less a tribute to The Wildbunch, one of our favorite bands.
After the first six songs, the album does not slow down until the last song. Songs 7-16 feature some of our favorite songs. It is not typical to put such songs in the middle of the album, but we’re very atypical. Some of the songs are A Plateprater Saved My Life This Afternoon, Hoover’s Buffoy, A Pirate’s Life For Me, and the classic Bram. There are more songs than these, but we won’t bother you with them at this time.
This is an album that will make you forget about your worries, and provoke you to ask some very deep questions you never knew you cared about. Questions like “Why is Roger Federer such an amazing man? What will the afterlife be like? Why doesn’t Donald Trump think I am a good leader?” The answers to these questions cannot be found on this album.
Kickin’ Doors and Stabbing Beds is more or less a feel good, drive around with your windows down, grind against your neighbor while wearing a tight tank top, summer party album. This is precisely why we’re putting it out in November.

A slice of Heaven with a raspberry on top.

We've been told many times that we need a music video for our page. Well, we recorded this video a while ago, but we've now updated it with the album version of the song, not the demo. That means added trumpets, a funkier bass, and an organ instead of a piano. Ron is still the DJ. Yes, Ron is the DJ.

The music video of Bram was directed by the fabulous Scott Pearson.
It was the bands goal to put out an extremely low budget video that may entertain a few people.
