About Me

Aboriginal CKCU (www.aboriginalckcu.com) promotes Aboriginal music, culture and community events to increase the learning, appreciation and understanding of First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples in Canada. Since we began our programming in March 2007 we have doubled our air time.
Join us every Sunday morning between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. EST at 93.1 FM in Ottawa or LISTEN LIVE on the web at www.aboriginalckcu.com.
The host's chair is shared by different Aboriginal volunteers each week to ensure listeners can enjoy a variety of views and music.

Aboriginal CKCU is a weekly volunteer-run community-based radio program.
If you are an Aboriginal artist and want to be aired on the Aboriginal CKCU airwaves, let us know about you, send us your CD.
Musicians - Send copies of your CDs to the station (please ID them as Aboriginal music). Drop us an email the day you mail them so we'll know to check on them.
