Rasta Down The Block

The Rasta Down The Block (Rasta DTB) project, began in 2006, after MtK got inspired to tell a story about a stupid Rastaman, with his first track, "Dey Go Lick Up U Keyar".
Being the Writer type, MtK realized that music was a method of storytelling. A method less demanding of its audience, as compared to Novels and Short Stories.
So that, coupled with the numerous comments he received for his hardstyle tracks, persuaded him to get a little deeper into the world of production.
MtK hopes to bring many worlds together by infusing elements of the various genres with humanity, to produce somewhat of a hybrid genre, or atleast provide some genres with new demeanors. He has already began to fuse trance like melodies, across hip hop like baselines, as done in his track, "A Squirrel Theif Me Weed". Later this year he hopes to provide Hardstyle Trance with a new face, wanting to make that genre of music a bit more pleasing to non-hardcore listeners. Or atleast make it a little more than bass.
