Here at New Skool Tattoos we pride ourselves in customer satisfaction (with some occasional sarcasm)!! We won't let you walk away with out a smile. Upon completion of your tattoo or piercing you will receive care instructions and a business card to call if you have any questions or concerns. Don't want to make an appointment? Don't have to. Walk-ins welcome!! If you do decide to make an appointment a $20 deposit will be taken and put towards your tattoo or piercing. Our hours are Monday thru Thursday 12pm to 9pm, Friday thru Saturday 12pm to 10pm, and Sundays 1pm to 7pm.

A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY New Skool Tattoos opened its doors in May of 1999. It was started by Lori Harrington with Phil Newman as the front man doing the tattoos and piercings. Out came one of the most productive, clean and fun tattoo shops in Southeast Michigan. Dedicated to doing everything the right way to the best of our abilities, our 1800 sq. foot facility is set up perfectly with large, comfortable rooms and a spacious lobby. We have a very large selection of the newest designs out there and we are always ready to draw custom designs if we don't have what you're looking for. The shop wouldn't be where it is today without Lori behind the scenes keeping them in line and always striving to make the shop bigger and better. You may also see Lori there every now and then to keep things in good shape and to do paperwork. It may sound like an "after school special" but one reason why we have become what we have is our "No Drug, No Alcohol" policy. It is our opinion that to do well in this business, day in and day out, you cannot be doing tattoos and piercings high, drunk or hung over from the night before. One way to show this has worked for us was by being voted the "#1 Tattoo Shop in the State of Michigan" by The Detroit News in 2003.
