i live in calgary. im not sure that i love this city yet. i miss halifax. i love hockey...both playing it and watching it. the oilers are my team and have been since i was 4. im not one of those bandwagon fans. i grew up in a hic town in southern alberta but i promise that im not a big red neck and i dont like george bush. i have the coolest parents anyone could ask for and some pretty rad friends. i think smoking is beyond stupid. recently i have become addicted to salt water taffe. i also love to snowboard...there is nothing that makes me happier than that right now. im a big nerd. its not worth trying to hide. i love to learn...i love the outdoors...and i really love biology. so much so that i went out and got myself a degree in it. and now im in calgary...hopelessly trying to find a biology type job. i love the zoo and could go there all the time and be happy. snowstorms are amazing...especially when they knock out the power and you are forced to hang out by candlelight and play cards...or board games. thunderstorms are also one of my favourite things. i dont like fake people. or people who severely lack motivation. or rush hour traffic. i enjoy a good game of old school nintendo once in awhile. or mario party even. i hate cell phones yet i dont think i could survive without mine. i love to laugh yet dont nearly do it enough. people need to be less serious and more fun. girls are trouble. so are relationships. but despite the nonsense they are still worth it. i want to run a marathon but find it hard to dedicate 6 months of training to it...i love spontaneity. and i never write in proper sentences or with proper grammar. university ruined all of that for me.
