About Me

Long Live Emperor Haile Selassie The First.The Artiste Honey Comb was born in the parish of Manchester,Jamaica. As a teen He showcased his art by performing with local sounds from his region such as Solid Gold and Malcolm X and others. HoneyComb's debut into the professional music world came when he was encouraged by Tony Rebel, his brother,to take his singing more seriously after he (Tony) heard him sing. Honeycomb's first release was "Hurt No More," written by Steven Lindo and released 1996. It was released on the Lalibela Rythym. The next two releases were "The Lamb" and "Hail The Beginning." Both were Flames label with Penthouse distribution.The next release was "Gone A Stray" which was released on the Shocking Vibes label and distributed Dynamic Studios.Then, in 1997 Honeycomb's entry into the prestigious Jamaica National Song Competition, "Jamdown is My Hometown" which was written by Tony Rebel, placed in the top ten out of over 300 entrants. In a nation as musically talented as Jamaica this was quite an achievement for any artiste.Since then, Honey Comb has been working on building his career writing, recording and performing as he prepares for the advent of more venues and ultimately, international recognition. "Baby Baby" was released on the Shocking Vibes label with the rhythm provided by Music Man Productions. Whats next for Honey Comb....Work surrounds an upcoming album,and listen up for Honeycom's latest pre-release, "Police and Rude Bwoy", produced by Triple T Productions.
