3rd Scenario

About Me

3rd Scenario is the collaboration of two of L.A.'s most promising Jazz/Funk/ R&B visionaries -- Scott "Bugs" Allen, 2005 N.A.A.C.P. Theatre award-winning musical director, a native of Baltimore, MD met multi-talented Guitarist/Vocalist Earl "Tee" Harris, (Improm2, Stephanie Mills, BeBe Winans, Euge Groove) a Chicago native, ten years ago at an audition for the now defunct Soul/Pop band Back2Back (Scene 1). This gifted duo seeking a more "cutting edged" project branched off with several of its departing members for a second project, but were still unsatisfied with the results (Scene 2). Finally, Allen and Harris decided upon taking the name "3rd Scenario". The name is meant to represent a final attempt at musical excellence. In this effort, they would align themselves with only the best musicans available, thus raising the bar, and have been making their mark on stages and in the studios of L.A. ever since.
With their second CD under development (hopefully as a major release), 3rd Scenario (with the addition of several Los Angeles area All-Stars) has established a sound that is sophisticated and funky! Their live stage shows with sidemen Asa Watkins (drums) and Dapo Torimiro (keys) have been described by the local jazz press as "... (jazz supergroup)'FourPlay' on performance-enhancing substances."
The cutting edge blend of JAZZ/FUNK--call it Neo-Jazz, created by the most talked about band in L.A.
