About Me

CONVECTED IS ON UNDETERMINED HIATUS
Convection is the movement caused within a fluid by the tendency of hotter and therefore less dence material to rise, and colder, denser material to sink under the influence of gravity, which consequently results in transfer of heat...We are Convected.Convected started out in 2005 due to conversations between the drummer and vocalist Niels Trumpie and Anduo Kaatee who wanted to make music together.Because of being such a great guitarist -and ofcourse, being a Trumpie as well- Bas Trumpie joined the band as lead guitarist. Back then, Arne Feenstra was still doing the vocals. It didn't take much time before Imre Beerends joined as Bass Player, Arne left and they forced Anduo (25/7) to be the lead singer.Convected was complete and started writing songs. starting with their "official" first song called "Rest". A dreamy metal experience for whomever hears it and dares to close their eyes and drift away.By now the band has written many songs and thrown away more than half (including "Rest"), hereby keeping the quality as high as possible. In terms of genre, it could be described as progressive metal, combined with dreamy parts of pure extacy. Yet because they're always experienting with new and other forms, the music tends to be impossible to define, making every live show a whole new and exciting experience.
