From it's beginnings as an attempt to impress a girl, to it's development through the years, and recently in it's relative local success, we present 4th Avenue. This melodic alternative indie band from Everett, WA is looking to make it's mark in the music industry. It's first two members (Sean and Shaun) have been the foundation for it's beginnings while other additions, such as Robert Sisk and very recent percussionist Paul Stoot, have added energy and personality to the band's musical endeavors. The overriding theme that underlies most of 4th Avenue's lyrics and musical goals is an inspirational bent towards hope, in the various areas and avenues of life.
The band showcases a great variety of music creativity and talent in each individual, and is moving toward an attempt to hit larger venues and popularity among music fans across the country. 4th Avenue has just finished its second demo CD, thanks to the support and generosity from members of the Shoreline Community college audio department, and is planning to make an expanded advertising effort with merchandise, promotions, and larger shows this summer. The band's hopes are to make a circuit tour around the West Coast in the next few months, to attain status with larger venues (such as the Showbox, Paramount, and Moore theaters), and to gather enough support from fans to make known their passions for music and inspiring others through this artistic medium.
