Angela Panzarella & 3rd Eye Blind Xperiment

• ANGELA "Sin" PANZARELLA begins playing the piano at the age of one and half (both her parents musicians for passion, her father Elia being a guitarist, and her mother Gasperina Cupiraggi a pianist, and they both used to sing too) an d goes on practicing both on classical and on modern pieces, and took place at several concerts, until at the age of ten she is taken under the guidance of M° Rodolfo Rubino (Rai, Fininvest, pianist of international fame who will gain later an important awardship abroad, becoming a Conservatory Teacher). She goes on with Classical Studies and becomes an appreciated concertist throughout Calabria, Southern Italy. At the age of 14 she enters the first main test at The Conservatory of Vibo Valentia, with the highest score: 9.50 (the test consisted in writing entirely a piece a pianist was playing at the piano), yet then decides not to go on with that Conservatory, but to go on under the careful glance of M°Rubino, who in the meanwhile realised an increasingly high attitude of the girl towards the world of rock/metal music. At the age of 18, Angela moves to Rome because of University and stops her piano studies (after having obtained more and more knowledge in further studies of armonia, composizione, fuga e contrappunto). On March 2000, 21 y.o., she has been discovered bassist in London, from a drummer, who invites her to dedicate completely to the study of the bass. On July 2000 she begins bass studies as a self - taught. On January 2001 she is chosen by prog/rock/dark band Synaesthesia in Rome (original band with some songs tribute from Jimi Hendrix to PFM and Deep Purple), and on June 2001 the band records their first Ep: Il Cattivo Genio di un Re. She begins working with Roman songwriter Emiliano Ottaviani, with whom she records two Eps: Donnie and The Street Singer (in the latter she also composes the song called The Street Singer).On February 2003 (after Synaesthesia splitted up) she forms Arcana, a dark project culminating in the renewed line up then called DarkOracle (more symphonic metal) and joins Wapentak, a Black Metal study-project studio.From January to July 2003 she is under the guidance of M° Sergio Gualieri (bassist for storic metal band Wotan) in the technique of heavy metal and Iron Maiden bass, and in the study of cavalcate and terzinati harrisiani (metal-iron maiden specialisation).On May 29th, 2003 Angela is on the stage of RadioLondra Caffè, in Rome, together with Jeff Scott Soto (vocalist for Yngwie Malmsteen, and others) as a guest at the bass during Soto’s Italian tour, and she plays the storic song “Stand Up and Shout”. On September 19th, 2003 Synaesthesia perform live at Alkatraz, Fiumicino, for a reunion, then the band says farewell to their audience.After a collaboration with power-metal project called Cassandra, and further works with the duo dark Krys&Paul and in the project AcidAlpha, the bassist is chosen into Clyde, rock band who gained many targets into Italian rock scene, signing with a Major from Milan, VideoRadio, and they release on October 1st , 2004, the CD “Senza Controllo” (with 13 tracks and the videoclip of their hit “I mostri che ho dentro di me”) recording, mixing and mastering at the famous Legends Studios in Rome. The band after opening the international “Rockfest80” (October 30th, 2004), being at the second place into Italian classifics and gaining TV programs (Sky) and radio programs (RadioRock above all), splits up because of some inner fights and the bassist’s abandoning the band on April 8th,2005.She then begins thinking about a very strong band, a mix between hard rock and heavy metal, the Sins Of Forgiveness, and from October 2005 she dedicates herself into technical specialisation under the guidance of M°Andrea Romanazzo.On October 14th, 2005 she takes part at the show “RinoCantando” as live session bassist for NoSense band. The show, tribute to Italian dead songwriter Rino Gaetano, was broadcast live on RaiSat. She also collaborates for a brief period with the cartoon band “Raggi Fotonici” and then with Rai guitarist Salvatore Arrabito, yet then she’s completely absorbed with her band, the Sins Of Forgiveness. Playing with local underground bands - he soon reveals a great use of double pedal, especially about the skill (his inspirations are drummers like Jorg Michael e Dave Lombardo). After some years devoted to studies and concerts David recorded his first demotape: it’s 1998 and David played 4 traks for an one man band called “Satanic Terrorist”, Aborym’s guitar player black metal side-project. At the end of the same year David starts playing with Stormlord, and together with them he recorded 3 full lenght and a mini-cd. With this band David plays a lot of concerts around Italy and Europe and he’s on the road 2 times for european tours near bands like Ancient, Graveworm and Mystic Circle. During the following years David continues his studies with Pierpaolo Ferroni (his teacher) and joins other bands too: Kaledon, (3 full lenght albums recorded with this band), Southern Cross, (official Stratovarius italian coverband), Riot Act (Skid Row coverband), Concept (2 full-length albums) ,The outbreak (Side project of members of Stormlord and Beholder). During this period he recorded the song ”Glory of metal.it” (hymn of the website www.metal.it) and played live supporting Atrocity, Sacred Steel, Domine, Vision Divine, Destruction, Vicious Rumors, Tony Martin. He also plays with Prophilax, the greatest roman band, in substitution of his teacher Pierpaolo Ferroni. He totally played more than 150 concerts and important metal festivals like "Summer day in hell" (in 2003supporting Blind Guardian, Opeth, Type o Negative, Lacuna Coil, Annihilator, Prong, Extrema), "Un dia de leones" (in 2002 supporting Soulfly and Arch enemy) and "Gods of Metal 2004" (supporting Alice Cooper, Testament, Twisted Sister, Wasp, Stratovarius, Sodom, Symphony X, Judas Priest, Nevermore, Rage, Anathema). In 2007 he is summoned by bassist Angela Panzarella for her solo project, involving "all star - endorsees" musicians, as main element ************************************************************ ****• PATRIZIO IZZO starts playing electric guitar and in 1996 he had his first experience playing in a Europe cover band called Stormwind, making also a cd called "Stormwind: a real Italian Tribute to Europe". Later on he becomes a singer in power metal cover bands such as Resurrection,Majesty of Gaia, singing and playing Malmsteen,Europe and Stratovarius songs(he is also the singer of the official Stratovarius Tribute band called Southern Cross). In 1998 he decides together with his friend Sandro Manicone to do a hardrock demo called WINGS OF TIME and they formed the band TRUE HEARTS but things didn’t worked so well so they decided to take a break. In 1999 after that, he fell in love with DEEP PURPLE and RAINBOW , so made experience performing all their classics such as Child in time,Highway Star,Gates of Babylon,I surrender and others with bands such as ORCHYDEA and STARGAZER, but the band that most of all made it to increase is tecnique and performance skillness was BALANCE, a tuttifrutti band created by guitar player MARCO CAPASSO. They played all kind of stuff from metallica to beatles to aerosmith to van halen passing trough dance pop and metal!! On the other side he continued practicing guitar playin bon jovi and skidrow in other bands havin’ gigs all around Rome. At this point he thougt that all this covering has taken it’s tall and so decided to reunite his first original band TRUEHEARTS which has now released a new demo THE LAST CHANCE. On May 2006 he joins SINS OF FORGIVENESS (www.sinsofforgiveness.it, www.myspace.com/sinsofforgiveness)the hard’n’heavy band with female musicians and they have been chosen for SUMMER METAL FEST! So the story goes on! ;) He is summoned by Angela "Sin" Panzarella, his bassist in SoF, even for her solo-project, as main element, and here we are with this brand new "all star" band ************************************************************ ****
