Squidley the founder of the prestigious Crystal Blue Sound started his career in Jamaica playing for Integra Sound. He came to the UK in 2000 and has not looked back. His career has gained momentum with each strategic move. He was a selector for Red Hot Sound and also had a regular show. Upon leaving Red Hot, Squidley created Crystal Blue (BIG BAD CRYSTAL BLUE) in Oct 2003. He recruited Phantom formely of Jaguar Sound and Metro Love. Collectively they have created a massive fan base with Squidley's ability to hype up any crowd and phantoms skills on the decks. Crystal Blue have recently added DJ Mex to the sound and together they have gone from strength to strength. Squidley has won DIA Selector of The Year Award three years in a row. Crystal Blue also promote events throughout the year namely, Phantoms's Birthday each February; Its A Party each Good Friday; Nike Barbeque each summer for the children and each October they host their anniversary dance The Blue & White Affair which is always a sell off event with big guest artist.
