Donation items can be just about anything. Anything you would donate to a homeless shelter, youth shelter, food bank or the humane society. This means you can bring in a can of food, a box of food, a toy, a new toy, and old toy, a book, a lunch box, a stuffed bear, a bed sheet, a shirt, a chew toy, a doggie bed, a kitty bed, a can of corn, a box of cereal, tooth brushed, an xbox360, soap, diapers, lotion, Kleenex, and PS3, new movies, old movies, anything. Less fortunate people are not picky, and we will just be happy you brought something. And as an extra incentive to bring in an item, which is the whole point of the event, if you bring in an item you get automatically entered in 1 of 2 raffles held the day of the event giving you a chance to win 1 of many things donated to us to give away. So you too can bring in a can of corn and leave with a TV :)
The Afterparty: Pictures are coming soon but this is what is carrying the party after midnight and till 4am. The venue for the afterparty is only about 10 minutes up the room. They are also offering to shuttle people back and forth in their vans. Meaning that once you get to the area, you can leave your car at the building and they will shuttle you to the main event and then pick you back up at the end and bring you to the afterparty so you won't even have to worry about driving there. Also the second venue is giving discounted hotel stay for anyone coming to the event, $59.99 instead of $120. Not only that but you get free breakfast and there is a POOL there, at the afterparty!!!! Lastly as long as you goto the main event before it closes then you get into the afterparty for free. If you do not goto the main event then you will be charged $10 at the door when entering the afterparty. Flyers and more info on this to come very soon :)
