Robert Lund is the singer/songwriter in Danish indie-act Kitty Wu.
Kitty Wu has released three full-length albums.
The bands debut "Privacy" (MNW 2001), co-produced by the band and Kasper Eistrup of Kashmir, caused quite a stir, and earned Kitty Wu a prestigious slot at the Roskilde Festivals legendary main stage.
The second effort "The Rules of Transportation" (Mercury 2003), crystalized the bands very personal sound, and cemented Kitty Wus place on the Scandinavian alternative scene. In addittion to recieving rave reviews, this album marked the beginning of a great artistic relationship with producer Rob Ellis, who is known for his work with artists such as Marianne Faithfull, Scott Walker, Laika, and most notabably PJ Harvey.
Released in 2005 and also produced by Ellis and mixed by Guy Fixsen (The Breeders, My Bloody Valentine, the pixies), the bands third album "Knives and Daggers" (Fast Getaway 2005) took Kitty Wus wirery sound to new extremes, and the bleak and somewhat cynical rock-album saw Robert Lund raffine his songwriting further.
Kitty wu is currently working on their fourth album.
Robert has also collaborated with artist such as Kashmir and Joycehotel.
He lives and writes in Copenhagen where he enjoys having a tree right outside his window.
