Books:
I don't have too much time for reading, but I just finished reading LIGHT ON SNOW by Anita Shreve. It kept my attention right from the beginning but I thought the ending could have been a little better. In the past few months I've also read Taylor Hicks' book, HEART FULL OF SOUL, which made me love and respect him even more than I did already. I've also always enjoyed all of the books by VC ANDREWS. If you see me reading anything else, it's usually out of a magazine ~ I love the tabloids............
Heroes:
I have so many:*****MY PARENTS***** ~ For always doing their best and teaching me how very important family and people in general are. They have helped me over and over again in my life and I can only hope that I can be there as much for my own children as my parents have always been there for me

He was so strong to not walk out on me those first few weeks home from the hospital where he had to practically carry me around and do everything that I couldn't do, all while still managing to work full~time. I owe him big for that

She is wonderful to talk to when I am down. She is always there for me and is the voice of reason I so often search out*****My TRUE FRIENDS are my heroes too***** Not a day goes by that I don't think back on something one of them did or said to make me happy. GOD, anyone serving in the miltary and defending our country (RIP Alex killed 5/25/07 in Iraq), Doctors (Thank you Dr. Hevert, Dr. Rojer, BOTH Dr. Beauchamps!), Nurses, Physical Therapists, Teachers, Police, Firefighters and EMT's. Anyone who volunteers their time or takes the time to help someone less fortunate than themselves.
