Franck Marchal

Franck has been collecting sounds since he was seven. At twelve, he entered the musical conservatoire where he studied composition and began to learn the piano. He immediately discovered a passion for musical experimentation and new technology. We are in the era of analogical synthesisers and the first Macintosh computers. Several studious years followed in which he perfected his musical and technical knowledge. Franck programs, mixes, masterises and quite naturally ended up producing his own sounds for the cinema, television and advertising.As much as Franck loved music, his biggest passion has, and will always be, for jazz. When he was twenty-seven, Franck founds the “Paris Jazz Festival”, which rapidly became the incontestable annual rendezvous that we know. The same year, he started up his own audiovisual production company; the “Comptoir du Son et des Images” in Paris. We are in 1995 and at the beginning of a new adventure.
