I was born April 11, 1974 (R.I.P. Proof/D12), @ Highland Park General Hospital, and was bought home to Schoolcraft Avenue. (1st generation of black babies to be raised off the Ave!) My earliest musical development came from my dad's huge record collection (Motown, Stax, Philedelphia Int., Polydor, etc...), this was before rap records were recorded. I was in kindergarten in '79 when "Rapper's Delight" introduced rap music to me, and the rest off the World. 1979 was also the same year I performed on stage for the 1st time. I was the star of the Christmas play, & from there I was hooked! By the time I was 8, I was b-boyin' with the neighborhood teenagers (if I was a New Yorker I would've been in Rock Steady Crew). At 13,I joined a rap group with some friends from middle school. We called ourselves "Rebels Of Hardcore". It was during this era that I was introduced to the recording, and performance elements of Hip-Hop. We won 2nd place in a talent contest hosted by Marvelous Marv of 107.5 WGPR. I rapped under the name Ace D. I was also buying records, and studying deejaying @ Detroit Roller Wheels, my neighborhood skating rink. (They eventually hired me as a dj). On the dj circuit i met Detroit notables such as Dj Shot Gun (Tech 12 Mob/Goodie MOB), Dj Mixwell (Melody Pharmz Crew), Dj Storm, Dj Jay Busy(owners of Ghetto Celebrity Clothing), Dj Assault, and others. After the high school years (Cass Tech) I attended Wayne State, and started attending the emcee battles @ Maurice Malone's legendary Hip-Hop Shop. I starting collecting all off the cassettes that came from there.(Dj Tony Tone, Dj Butter, Dj Head & Proof (R.I.P.), Dj Dez, Slum Village, Eminem, 5 Ela,Tech 12 Mob, Dj Whip, ect...) At this time I was also a promo rep for Acme Image Consultants. At the retail level (Sam Goodie, Harmony House, Media Play, Best Buy Music, ect.) my accounts included Janet Jackson, Dave Matthews Band, K.D. Lang, & Luther Vandross. In 1998, I joined Modern Tribe Comm. as Head of Street Team, and DJ for Boom. Shortly after going on the Detroit Hip-Hop Tour w/ Dj Invisible (Xzibit), Proof, and N'Jeri (Wu Tang) I started spinning @ Cafe Mahogony (R.I.P.) Others residents were House Shooz, Lacks, Dj Carl aka Dj Invisible, Dj Dez (Slum Village),& Dj Q. I also started spinning live on the radio on WHPR 88.1 FM with DJ Dez, & K.O.B. on P-Gruv's (DA ENNA C) "UPTOP RADIO SHOW" every Friday from 7-9 pm. I then joined the Mountain Climbaz and started releasing my "Detroit Streets" mix cds. I was a close associate of D12 in their pre-"Devil's Night" stages (R.I.P. Bugz), and an extended member of the Newark, New Jersey based Outsidaz (Pace Won, Rah Digga, Eminem, Bizarre, Young Zee, others...)R.I.P. Slang Ton. Over the course of time I've deejayed onstage for Hip-Hop Legends Brand Nubian, MC Eiht, Black Sheep, Detroit's Most Wanted, D12, and Outsidaz. I've also been on the same bill with DJ Clue, Dj Kid Capri, Public Enemy, Dj Quik, MC Lyte, Digital Underground(R.I.P. Tupac), Chief Rocka Busy B, Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Ras Kass, Black Moon, Das Efx, Chubb Rock, Whodini, Too $hort, Ice T, Ice Cube, X Clan (R.I.P. Sugar Shaft, Pro. X), KRS-1 (R.I.P. Dj Scott La Rock, Randy Allen), UTFO, Mike Jones, Dip-Set, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Ja Rule, 50 Cent, EPMD, and Afrika Bambaata. As well as the entire 313 rap community! I've been in magazines such as Rap Pages (R.I.P), Stress (R.I.P.), Murder Dog, @ The Source, and Don Diva. I was an opening artist on Method Man's "4:21 Tour" w/ Clan members Inspecta Deck, Street Life, Masta Killa, and Dj Allah Mathematics (R.I.P. Ol Dirty Bastard). I am currently managing Lola Damone, and spinning weekly @ St. Andrew's Hall as part of WJLB's "3 Floors Of Fun" every Friday night. The mix cds are getting "gooder and gooder". My "Celebrity Hosts" include Detroit Mayor Kwame' Kilpatrick, Flavor Flav, Rev. Ben Chavis (NAACP, the movie Belly), Chief Rocker Busy Bee, Young Jeezy, Dip-Set, Whodini, Shock G, Big Daddy Kane, Common, Slum Village, KRS 1, Naughty By Nature, Derrick Coleman (NBA LEGEND), MC Lyte, Wu-Tang Clan, Chris Webber (NBA LEGEND), Jr. Reid, Dwele', Brand Nubian, and a host of Detroit STREET LEGENDS!!! Oh yeah, every hot emcee in DETROIT has been on "Detroit Streets"!!! The longest-running series in the world dedicated to the 313!!! I am currently working on my debut DVD, it's full of suprises... As an actor I starred in my 8th grade play/movie "Eye of The Storm" as "Danny" a popular, funny, loud-mouth kid who was based on my '87-'88 swagger. I can also be seen in Detroit underground films "Rap Files", "Detroit Hoops", and the controversial flick "The Bottom Dollar". If you really wanna see me get my "Denzel on", check me the motion picture 8 Mile!!! I had my own close-up in a crowd of 8 MILLION PEOPLE!!! (LOL) Whether it's mix-tapes, live shows, tours, radio, dvds or shooting dice, I DON'T PLAY!!! I REP DETROIT WORLDWIDE TO THE FULLEST EVERYDAY/ALL DAY!!! RIFF RAFF SCHOOLCRAFT 100 yrs... oh yeah, the case got dismissed, and I just started doin' my thing-thing, what about Y-O-U??? My debut LP coming sooner than you think, i got beats too!!! Holla...
