I am an active martial artist and train at the White Dragon School of Kung fu in Newquay. There I practice Kung-Fu, San Shou Kickboxing, Wing Chun and Tai-Chi. I currently hold a black belt at San Shou and now I have my black belt in kung fu!
Because of my art and design background I am interested in all things creative. I can draw, create and design on computer (multimedia design) come up with ideas and love photography (check out my website). I also have a camcorder, which I want to use more and have created a few time lapse videos.
I have a big interest in history and archaeology; I am a member of the Cornwall Archaeology Society and have been on a couple of archaeological digs. I also love medieval stuff & old places & re-enactment events & battles.
I am interested in the paranormal and ghosts and have joined the Paranormal Research Organisation. I have spend the night in numerous haunted places; so if you want to chat about ghosts, then go ahead!
Interesting people.
I enjoy all types of films, but in particular intelligent films and Sci-fi and Fantasy & monster/creature films. My fave films are Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Matrix, Minority Report, Terminator 2, 12 Monkeys, Dark City, Monty Python, Hot Fuzz, Stardust, Sin City and all the Ray Harryhausen films; such as Clash of the Titans, Jason and the Argonauts and the Sinbad films. I've just seen Cloverfield and I like the way it has re-invented the monster film genre. I also have watched and collect lots of martial arts films and anime.
I don't watch much tv, instead switch it off & go out & do something! I do watch some programs like documentaries, historical stuff and sci-fi & fantasy like Heroes, Smallville, Star Trek, Rome, Firefly, Babylon 5, Life on Mars, Xena, Angel.
Comedies it is: Bill Bailey, Billy Connelly, Monty Python, Blackadder, Red Dwarf, American Dad, Family Guy, Spaced, Black Books, Have I Got News for You.
Sometimes, when I sit still.
Well I like the rags to riches story of Jackie Chan's life and Ray Harryhausen's great, I love creatures! And we should all have the enthusiasm & energy of Brian Blessed, he's 70 this year and he's still climbing mountains!
