About Me

Hey, my names Dan and I am a freelance bass player earning a living through a number of musical projects and other bits and bobs. I am NOT tied to any band, just simply the ones I love playing in and the ones that put diesel in my car.
I currently play live for:
Sack Sabbath - Black Sabbath Tribute
Lordaeron - Technical Death/Blackened Metal
Insidious - Tech-Grind Death
The Beetroot Kings - Folk Rock / Indie
I am available for private tutoring for Bass and Guitar also. I cater mainly for beginners but can go all the way to advanced if needed. I have a BA in Sonic Arts aswell as a BFD, BND and HND in Music Performance.Drop me a message and I'll get straight back or contact me @ dbass(at)gmx(dot)co(dot)uk - Replace the bracketed words with the appropriate characters! Thats to stop spam!
I am also available for session work or dep posistions in bands. I have a fairly busy calander but always worth a shot!

I use and OFFICIALLY endorse Warwick Basses and proudly play through Mark Bass amps and cabs.
My Warwicks are a Corvette FNA Jazzman fitted with a J-style neck MEC pickup and a Delano MC4FE humbucker in the bridge posistion. (Oil Blue finish). I have a Thumb 4-String BO with Bartolini pickups with natural finish and lastly a Corvette Standard 4-string fretless, natural finish again. They are all awesome and have their own characteristics. Nothing can touch them in my opinion - and I've played just about everything you can.
I love nature and being surrounded by it, I believe its a big part in playing bass and music in general. They all affect me and my music.
