I hope you enjoy them as well!!DONNIE VIE'S WONDERFUL WORK: ***********************************************************E nuff Z'nuff is a solid rock band from Chicago, founded by Donnie Vie (guitar, keyboards & vocals) and Chip Z'nuff (bass & vocals). The band released their first record, a self-titled debut album in 1989 on Atco Records, with original members Donnie Vie and Chip Z'Nuff being joined by guitarist Derek Frigo, the son of singer/actress Brittney Browne and renowned violinist/songwriter Johnny Frigo and Vikki Foxx now of The Veronicas. They had two hits that year with Fly High Michele and New Thing. The follow-up, 1991's Strength, the band tried to remove their glam image. It was released in 1991 to strong reviews, including Rolling Stone magazine calling the group "The hot band of the year." There were videos for the singles "Mother's Eyes" and "Baby Loves You," as well as appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman. The band left Atco Records but soon after was picked up by Clive Davis Arista Records for their 1993 album Animals With Human Intelligence. During this time, Vikki Foxx had left to pursue a career with The Vince Neil Band. They replaced him with an amazing drummer named Ricky Parent. The album received critical acclaim however; the guitarist Derek Frigo left the band because of creative differences. However, the band continued for several years, touring and releasing albums on several indie labels, and finding a solid fan base overseas. Lead singer and songwriter Donnie Vie stopped touring with the group in early 2001 to embark upon a solo career. Former lead-guitarist Derek Frigo, died from an apparent drug overdose at the age of 36. Ricky Parent got cancer he is still fighting and winning his battle. In 2006 the existing original members reconvened to shoot a pilot for VH1's reality based show Bands On The Run. Plus there was a reunion show done before Derek passed away with all of the members except Chip. The band recently finished production in Las Vegas on their 16th album tentatively title "Lost In Vegas" due for release in 2007. Since 2001 the band continues to tour regularly throughout the US & Europe as a power trio with guitarist/singer/songwriter Johnny Monaco performing lead vocals & guitar. Now that Donnie Vie has been on his own, he has been busy. He has released two albums and a DvieD that we all love so much. If you do not have this please make sure you get a copy of it.Discography • 1989 Enuff Z'nuff • 1991 Strength • 1993 Animals With Human Intelligence • 1994 1985 • 1995 Tweaked • 1996 Peach Fuzz • 1997 Seven • 1998 Live • 1999 Paraphernalia • 2000 10 • 2003 Welcome To Blue Island • 2004 Favorites (Compilation) • 2004 ? • 2006 Greatest Hits • 2006 Extended Versions (Live) • 2007 Lucky 13 • 2007 Las Vegas• DONNIE’S DISCOGRAPHYDon E.
