AZALEH was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 13th as her parents were traveling. It was her time to enter the world once she arrived at 9:29 she was named Teri Patrece. As she was grew from a toddler to adolescent her life was always filled with a variety of musical influences. Azaleh was grew up in Harlem, New York.She became interested in a career in music, by working as the receptionist at SIR Studios in New York City. She has always had a passion for music . Her parents were affiliated with some of the great legends of Motown.AZALEH was began a music career in 1994. She started performing at open mics and showcases as “ Nubian Queen” which she later changed to Azaleh in 1996. Azaleh registered with BMI Music in April of 2000 and has accumulated a book of lyrics with the Library of Congress titled Azaleh’s Complilations Volume I.AZALEH is an artist with a variety of flavor and style. She is a very strong and powerful lyricist. She is a new potent force in the world of music. An artist with unique writer skills with incredible depth.Many have called her performance outstanding. Azaleh takes on her alter-ego Coco while she is on stage. Her sound is a new style that the music industry has to embrace. Her style is very feminine, sexy and seductive telling her story from a woman’s side of game.Dealing and writing about true life experiences she is destined and determined to bring all her concepts to life through her music.Azaleh has been on stage with many greats from Diana Ross to her mentor Prince. Azaleh was nominated by The Black Music Awards for lyricist of the year in 2008.This artist has been continously working and she is ready for the world. The first single is “Where You Going?, is a creation of dancehall and hip-hop with Azaleh’s flavor.
