About Me

Tom is a Fireman/Paramedic in Atlanta, Ga. but he was born in Louisville, Kentucky on a windy day in March. One of eight children brought up in a Catholic family and raised spending most summer days on the Ohio river fishing and water-skiing.His first musical influences were Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin and Aerosmith but his mellow spirit and baratone voice eventually gave way to James Taylor, Cat Stevens and Jim Croce which he first heard on his big sisters albums. As country music changed to include elements of rock, pop, blues and R&B Tom fell in love with it.In addition, his Christian beliefs and love of God have led him to write a number of heartfelt songs that reflect his faith................Tom's song "Time On My Hands" was used in the Patrick Swayze film "Fatherhood." His vocal performance was also used in the movie. He performed his co-written song "Beer Bottle Brown" (Bob Delaposta) on the TV show Country Today on The Nashville Network. In September 2007 "Beer Bottle Brown" was also used in a line dancing scene on the soap opera All My Children as well as being recorded by the performer SHE'RIE on her CD "Country City Girl." His song "The Shape Of A Cross" was recorded by the southern gospel group JERICHO on their second CD entitled "He Thought He Saw Jesus" and his song "I Started Living" was recorded by JENNY MORRIS on her CD "Girl On The Run."In 2006 his song "Goodwill Coat" (co-written with Robert George) made it into the top 15 in the CMT/ NSAI song contest. In 2007 he placed again in the top 15 with his song "The Shape Of A Cross." In 2009 his song "The Last Place I Turn" made the top 5.....................Tom can be heard each month in Nashville singing at various writers nights and seen on Music Row doing what songwriters do!
