About Me

My life seems like one of those intricate, 1000 piece puzzles that only the most dedicated can begin to understand. The wonderful, colorful sections are uncomplicated and easy to identify. The darker areas take a long time to understand and are sometimes hard to get past. They both go hand in hand though and my puzzle would not be complete without them. Jordon, my boyfriend, is a consistent light in my life. He strives to be happy and to make others happy... I wish we could all be like him. My 'old' friends (from high school and college) are few and far between, but there is no denying the chemistry between us when we finally take the time to reunite. The relatively new friends I have made, Jess & Jess, Angie, Alex, Chad, and everyone else, keep me positive and continually show me that life is too short to take too seriously. Finally, but not lastly, my family makes me laugh at things I never thought I could. Our time together could make me millions if only they would let me record it for a hilarious, satirical, reality TV show. Guess I'll keep working to convince them of that.
My Personality
I am usually pretty quiet until you get to know me or until you get me drunk. I find it hard to stop talking in that case! I am entirely too serious at times, although it's the fun and carefree things in my life that keep me happy. I like going out once in a while, although like it best when Jordon is with me. I'm very sarcastic and quick-witted, but I rarely mean it to be taken in a harsh or malicious way. I prefer to think of myself as an optimist, although I have seen too much in my lifetime to completely shut out the realities of life all together.

My Interests

It would probably make for a shorter list if I just describe the things I don't like, but that wouldn't be much fun. I like hanging out with my family and friends, watching good movies and drinking good alcohol. I'm a terrible snowboarder, but I like it anyway. I am trying to get back in to swimming so that the gym isn't so tedious and would love to get back into horseback riding sometime soon. I like reading novels by Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Terry Goodkind, Patricia Cornwell, Lisa Jackson and the guys that wrote the Left Behind Series. I even write myself on occasion, usually just journaling, but sometimes a short story or two will come out of it. I can't remember the last time I was bored... my mind is always going a million miles a minute and I love to people watch, so boredom is not something I can relate to.

This is my boyfriend, Jordon. Isn't he HOTT??? He's romantic and wonderful, I don't know what I'd do without him

This is my sister, Brandi. She's having a baby next year. I'm going to be an Aunt!!!

This is my youngest sister, Alexis. She is beautiful and creative and will be graduating from art school next year.

This is my favorite brother, Ryan. He's funny and smart and just turned 21 (FINALLY!).

This is my roommate Alex. He and Jordon are best friends, so we get to be friends too!
