About Me
R&B singer Nor was born in Sudan in 1986 to the very highly respected Piyo Tem Family. The singer/songwriter Nor, whose influences include Omarion, Mario, Marques Houston, Avant, Ginuwine, Tyrese, and Joe, began his career at the age of 14, performing at parties within local talent shows around his home in Washington DC’s area.Music was never far from Nor's mind, even at school; teachers would catch him singing under his breath during classes, but encouraged his talent.Nor stood out with his massive frame, winning smile, easygoing style, mellow voice, and hailed as the "new voice of ghetto soul" and took his lyrical inspiration from the more positive side of life in his native South Sudan. The singer/songwriter wrote "crash on you" based on his feelings following a romantic relationship.Nor felt that The Lord had blessed him enough for being allowed to put his sadness down on paper. Emotional lyrics such as “D1, The only one, So called friends, talk about love and feel the music" won the singer instant acclaim in his home city. While some singers get too sexually graphic in their songs, Nor decides to leave it up to the listener's own libido and imagination on sensuous ballads such as " Habibi",“crash on you" "The only one" and "talk about love.Nor is currently living in Washington DC, VA with his family and now is pursuing modeling and singing. Watch out for Nor’s music video for his songs “Da 1, The only one, talk about love and Crash on you.For More Info visit: www.norlive.com
