Our group is led by Contra Mestre Parafina . Parafina combines his talent of Brazilian dance fighting with amazing acrobatics, making his school one of the most acrobatic around.

Amir Solsky, aka, Parafina, is the founder and leader of Capoeira Los Angeles. Originally from Israel, Amir has been studying the art of Capoeira for over fifteen years, and also works as an Instructor of Gymnastics and Personal Training.

In addition to teaching, Amir is a performer, and has been featured on Film, Television, and Stage. Recently Amir was featured as a Martial Arts expert on "Fight Science" by the Discovery Channel check out the video below. Furthermore, Amir and his students have done countless live performances all over Los Angeles, at parties, on the beach, and even at clubs.
