About Me

Whats good with you. Quik synopsis of my life would be.... Graduated from highschool and went straight to the United States Marine Corps. Not that I'm super patriotic but I did what I had to do in order to get where I needed to be. While in the USMC I was staioned in Cali, Okinawa, Guam, Afghanistan, and North Carolina among other places. Got married my last year in the service to my wonderful wife. Been happily married ever since. Got out in 04 and finished my degree and graduated from park university with a BS in Social Psychology ( yep all in your brain ). Worked with kids with Severe Emotional Disorders for several years. Beginning of 07 I found out I had cancer. Fought thru that all last year with God's help and the love of my friends and family. Started a hiring process for the Lee's Summit Fire Department in about Sept. Got the job and started the academy in January. Graduated the academy and now work at one of the best jobs I ever had. Start my masters program next year. 2 paragraphs 8 years. My life's been good so far. I have a unique perspective on life and I don't mind sharing it. I truly beleive I was placed on this planet to help, and i'll do my best to answer any questions you may have. Some people call me lucky some people call me blessed, I just strive everyday to make life a little better for the people I encounter than it was for them yesterday

My Interests

Reading ( I'm a avid reader and go thru at least 2 novels a week, video games (my tru passion), the human mind and spirit,sports,and good jokes

I'd like to meet:

Jesus Christ ( soon I hope). Real people needing real help. But other than that I save the groupie love for those who need sycophants overwhelming adulation from others

Music:

Jadakiss, Jay-z,Most underground rap. Floetry and oldschool R:B, Norah jones, Evanescence, Creed, Green day and Smashing pumpkins (yea i know well rounded).

Movies:

300, Most comic book movies, all martial arts flicks (especiallly sub titled ones). Anime movies,Harold and Kumar, and my wife got me on Disappearing Acts.

Television:

Smallville, Vh1, Cartoons, the news, Still Standing, Scrubs, the Office, and King of Queens, Heroes

Books:

The Wheel Of Time series by Terry Goodkind, The Dragon Reborn series, Heroes never die and so many more I couldn't name them. I speed read so I go thru at least 2-3 books a week. Real talk

Heroes:

My mom for making me the man I am today. My wife for showing me day to day what a person must do to be a man, and being so strong for me when I know she would rather be crying. And all my friends you knew who you are who I sometimes think struggle with my cancer more than me
