Real Name Lawal Olelekan Olumo born in lagos, Nigeria on the 9th of January. KONGA, a naturally endowed and talented atmosphere charger, started his musical career as a street free stylist in EBUTE METTA... Started up the career at a very young age.Basically the style of music and language lyrics is called "ENO" which is a dialect used by ladies wayback by people from badagry mostly. It was a coded way of speaking when you don't want other knowing about your conversation.Started up with performances such as INDOMIE GROOVE under the auspices of LARRY KAY EVENTS in Universities and polytechnics all over Nigeria. Konga has been able to make headway with various Collabo such as "Ja won si" Ft 2 Face Idibia X-project "lori le", Olu maintain "Jedi Jedi",Banky W "Ebute metta video",Mr Kool "Boogie Hoogie Fever", Morachi "Lock him up" and many more.... An various Live performances such as 1st edition RYTHM UNPLUGGED, GUINNESS EXTRA SMOOTH LAUNCHING , NIGERIA INDEPENDENT CONCERT sponsored by BEN TV UK, KONGA and FANS live in Dublin.Had his first Album KONGA H2O hit the stores in 2003 and topped so many charts with hit song "Baby Konga"Konga is a young talented artist who is ready to give back to the music world what he has gained from them, He believes in consistency and working hard to build a solid, outstanding body of work that hopefully will outlive him.
