In no particular order: activism, men, sleep, showtunes, anti-war, michael moore, oprah books, movies, music, student affairs, tarot, astrology, getting a degree, money, cats, betta fish, hermit crabs, going to college forever, boys, flowers, romance, kisses, cuddling, sleeping all day, working, talking, grad school
And the best cat I'll ever have.
She recently passed away.

Do not send me a message that says "hey sexy". If you want to talk to me then talk to me. It's not that hard to start a conversation.
If you went to high school with me and we didn't have a good friendship, chances are I'm not going to add you. It's nothing personal to you. But MySpace is personal to me. I only add friends.
I don't like mean people.
I do like intellectuals. People that can hold really good conversation. People that can have fun without having to get smashed. I'm not straight edge but I've already grown out of the heavy drinking stage of my life. I'm more of a cocktail girl.
Oh, and people that will leave me comments. I want to meet those kind of people. That's important.
And finally, I'd like to meet someone who will send me flowers regularly. If you do that then yeah, I'll be your friend.
Fall Out Boy, The Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie, Sarah McLachlan, Sherwood, Dashboard Confessional, Barenaked Ladies, showtunes (I'm a RENThead), Josh Groban, Dixie Chicks, Evanesence, Paula Cole, Lisa Loeb, etcetera. I love girlie music (a la Lilith Fair) and emo/light punk/acoustic music.
My Top Five include Sarah McLachlan, The Postal Service, Fall Out Boy, Lisa Loeb and my new favorite love that you should love too:
RENT, Garden State, Latter Days, The Holiday, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Big Fish, Shakespeare in Love, American Beauty, Bowling for Columbine, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Finding Nemo, The Object of My Affection, My Best Friend's Wedding, Cruel Intentions, the list goes on. I love showtune type movies but I really, really like the emo movies that make you think too much and wonder why you're still alive.
Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Six Feet Under, ER, Law & Order SVU, MTV, E!, and the Food Network. I admit, trashy reality shows like The Surreal Life and The Simple Life are really interesting to me. Plus I like watching those gross shows where they operate on people.
She's Come Undone, I Know This Much is True, Dancing Naked at the Edge of Dawn, Where the Heart Is, The Da Vinci Code, The Vagina Monologues, Cunt, The Lovely Bones, Lucky, White Oleander, Here on Earth, and a whole lot more. I own just about every book I read so let me know if you want to borrow one.
My Great-Grandmother, My Mother, My Maternal Grandmother, Hillary Clinton, and anyone who can get into grad school and secure a decent job.
