Paul and Dave have been writing songs together for several years now and their improved compositional skills deserves to take them into the big league with songs that outclass many of today's major artists. Between them they have written some stunning tracks such as the ones featured here on myspace (and includes the four tracks that also appear on their other site, and can be found on www.myspace.com/simpsoncrewe). I am sure you will enjoy listening to all the featured songs. Paul is the main musician and producer whilst Dave is the lyricist. Both are responsible for working out song structures, arrangements and melodies. They possess a wide range of musical tastes and influences, which can be heard within these songs. At present "A Twisted Perception" is a studio project and as things stand have no intentions of performing live. One of their main aims is that musically accomplished artists who perhaps lack consistently great material or are suffering from writers block will hear these songs and be keen to record them. Perhaps band management/agents can also see the obvious potential of these songs and encourage their artists to record them likewise. Album releases in particular would benefit by the increase in quality by including any one of these tracks at the expense of "filler" material.Paul's wife Sarah provides all the female vocals on "A Twisted Perception" and "SimpsonCrewe" material. You can not fail to be impressed by her great voice. You can find out more about Sarah on her own site myspace.com/sisaldersis.Paul and Sarah are currently drummer and vocalist respectively in an up and coming band with gothic, folk and death metal influences alongside guitarist Mark Holmes (the band's founder member) and his partner Hannah on bass. They are called "Secular Faith". I'm sure in time that they too will have tracks featured on myspace. They will be worth checking out when this happens. Mark is also responsible for the excellent website www.metal- discovery.com. You will find many great gig/cd reviews and photos. If you love metal, this is the perfect website for you.Back to "A Twisted Perception". I hope you have enjoyed these tracks and we would be delighted to hear your feedback, views and ratings of each song. We feel that some of the songs featured on either of these sites would more likely appeal to markets outside the UK, in particular mainland Europe and hopefully across the rest of the world. If you have any questions to put to us about our music, we will be pleased to answer them."A Twisted Perception" would like to thank you for the time and interest you have shown in our music. You can contact "A Twisted Perception"
