About Me

Composer of electroacoustic, mainly acousmatic, music but also interested in collaborations, multimedia work and laptop improvisation. Studied flute performance at RSAMD, Glasgow, later specialising in electroacoustic composition as a postgraduate student, taught by Alistair MacDonald. Currently undertaking PhD study at Manchester University, supervised by David Berezan.Awards in internatational competitions: Insulae Electronicae (2004, 2nd prize), CIMESP (Public Prize 2005, Honorable Mention 2007 ), Bourges (Residence 2006), and SCRIME (Prix SCRIME 2007). Work has been performed in Italy, Brazil, Sweden, Belgium, France, USA, at festivals including Bourges, Futura, and Sonorities amongst others. Works have also been broadcast on Swedish Radio and BBC Radio 3.Also a freelance workshop leader for the Sonic Arts Network.
