the fags

The Fags started in early March 2007 in the small surroundings of Appleby, UK, with Adam Waite and Jimania who wanted to start a band to be more ghetto than the usual sounds of metal and emo that dominated the local music scene n shit. They enlisted close son of a skid Luke Evans on bass and part time guitar, and shortly after asked the most bad ass drummer 'Swedish ma nigga' Paul Crompton to join the band...
The music is influenced by many great bands past and present including; pink floyd, the beatles, led zep, rage against the machine, nine black alps, the kinks and queens of the stone age to name only a handful…
The real reason for the sound of The Fags is...the blend of solid bass, technical drumming and black rap from Luke and Paul combined with licks that could kill small animals from 3000 miles away of lead from Jim and gravelly vocals from Adam which leave the fags with that ghetto sound and style that everyone knows and loves.
The Fags wished to create music that could be enjoyed by lovers of both heavy and relaxed music, the tracks up on the profile currently show the more relaxed and chilled out side to the band. Also we are sorry for the lack of vocals on one of the tracks but the mic broke...as all poor musicians will appreciate.
