I dont understand how my passion lies in human escapism when i feel like it is my duty as a responsible human being to become a politician or freedom fighter or terrorsit to make the world realise we are killing ourselves! life for me is a continual rage between what i love to do and what i feel is my destiny... and i dont even fucking believe in destiny damnit!
At the moment all i really am is a Art student at UCT who likes to chill with friends, listen to my music and blaize every now and then to add some spice to it all.I'm really inspired by awesome Album covers, like Black Flags albums and Lou Reeds. My plan is to open my own theatre company with some mates and then produce, direct, write and maybe star in my own musicals and plays. i also want to be a a part time paramedic as i could never give up the arts as they are my life (and only thing i am good at) but think they are really selfish so really need to connect on a level of givingness with other people. i have this unfortuante habit of thinking everyone is generally a nice person... my mom says this is a good thing. i also want to make money selling my art work even though it seems impossible to do as no gallery will take such large pieces... will have to open up own gallery then. i also want to be involved in giving "tolerence" lectures - going to schools etc teaching about people with disabilities and how to integrate them into mainstream society (the only thing mainstream is good for.) So basically i am an eternally optimistic, artisitic ambitious sexy independent women who gives her all in everything she does....hmmm well thats what i'm aiming for at least. The truth is we are all one conciousness experiencing ourselves subjectively.Oh and i HATE it when things i like (namely bands or artists etc) become popular and commercialise themselves. For example - Snow Patrol's 2nd Album, Green Day after American Idiot, Coldplay after Rush of Blood to the Head. etc. Unfortunately this isnt their fault - just the fact that they are really really good and therefore everyone would obviously like them. but sucks as well.
