About Me

An Ailing Spacecraft, The Government That Tried To Kill It, The People Who Wouldn’t Let It Die.
Earth, 2004. After fifteen years in low-earth orbit, the school-bus sized Hubble Space Telescope has been dealt the death card by the cosmos. Hubble needs the astro-physical equivalent of routine auto maintenance (change the battery, rotate the gyroscopes) yet NASA and its administration-appointed leader have seemingly turned their backs on this internationally celebrated miracle of astronomy.
The countdown is on to Save Hubble as everyone from astronomers to astronauts to ordinary Americans unite to save the craft from an untimely demise.
